well today is the day when we must say good bye there is one person that has made the last 9 years of my band playing be a blast thanks to my little girl ( TOOTIE BLAINE ) for putting up with all the crazy stuff that comes with being with a musician i know it is hard for a woman that is with a musician that plays in a band it is something to go through . with all the places we have to drive to get to play and tootie has driven me to and from many of them she took a lot of stress off me in many ways and she has had to put up with a lot of driffrant faces so thanks to her for being so true to me and southern connection so my friends i will say so long hope all is well and much happiness comes to each of you love larry and the southern connection band 31 December 2008

as i sit here thinking about playing my final show with a special group of guys i feel a great sadness in my heart i love each of these guys just like family especially kenny mac he and i have been through it all good and bad but most of it has been good i don't look at the bad i just look forword always have these guys have been great to work with i could not ask for anything better they are just a great group of players thanks to them for being there at my side each and every week they will contiune to be your house band their name is now (THE ROLLIN HILLS BAND ) keep supporting them like you always have thanks to all of my guys i will miss you all love larry 30 December 2008

as i get ready to play my final gig at the hills let me say thanks to each of you for your support over the last 3 years that my band southern connection has been the house band at rollin hills thanks so much for making me feel so important. you made me feel like i was some one special thanks for being so nice to me over the years i will remember yall every day i will think of how much fun times we had thanks love ya larry 30 December 2008

Thanks Larry, You did a superb job filling in for Snook with Country Magic last Sat. night. We kept throwing songs at you, and you did not flinch one bit. Your playing was right on every time.
